Terms
Short, plain terms for training with Shastra Labs. If anything is unclear, ask us before you enrol.

1. About us
Shastra Labs provides hands-on hardware and cybersecurity training in Dadar East, Mumbai, India. These terms apply when you register interest in or enrol in our courses and workshops.
2. Courses and enrolment
Course descriptions, session counts, schedules and batch sizes are indicative and may change for operational reasons. Your seat is confirmed only after we confirm it with you in writing. A free demo class is available so you can try before enrolling. Fees are shared on enquiry and confirmed in writing before you enrol.
3. Certificate
Students who complete a course receive a Shastra Labs Certificate of Completion. This is our own institute certificate. It is not a university degree, diploma or third-party accreditation, and it does not carry any external recognition beyond what we state.
4. No placement guarantee
We do not guarantee employment, interviews, salary or placement. Job-hunt support may include resume help, referrals and job leads, but hiring decisions are made solely by employers.
5. Ethics and authorised testing
You may only apply the techniques taught to devices and systems you own or have explicit, written permission to test. You must follow the scope and authorisation rules covered in class. We do not teach or support attacking third-party systems, and we may remove any student who engages in illegal or unethical activity.
6. Lab safety and equipment
Follow all safety and handling instructions during sessions. Lab equipment and target devices are provided for training use. Do not modify, damage or remove equipment outside the scope of the exercise. You are responsible for your own belongings.
7. Payments and refunds
Fees, payment schedules, cancellation and refund terms are confirmed in writing before you enrol. There are no hidden charges. If you are unsure about anything, ask us before paying.
8. Course material
Course material is provided for your personal learning. Do not redistribute, resell or publish it commercially without our written permission.
9. Changes and liability
We may update course content, schedules or these terms when needed, and we will inform registered students of material changes. Training is provided in good faith and as described. We are not responsible for how you use the skills taught, and we are not liable for misuse. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
